Comparison searches and tools
Search text, treatment filters and cost-calculator figures are processed in your browser. Our website code does not send these inputs to us or to an analytics service. Shortlists stay on the current page unless you choose to remember them on this device. We do not operate clinical assessments, visitor accounts, a newsletter or payment collection.
Information needed to deliver the website
Our hosting provider, Netlify, receives connection information such as your IP address, browser information, requested page and request time when serving this site. This processing supports page delivery, security and fault investigation. The relevant purpose is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website. Do not put medical details or other private information in page URLs.
Hosting can involve processing outside the UK. Netlify describes its processing terms and international-transfer arrangements in its data processing agreement and privacy notice. We do not promise a log-retention period that has not been confirmed for this hosting account.
Cookies, storage and your choice
We use browser storage to remember a cookie choice for up to 180 days. Optional storage remembers shortlisted provider IDs only when you accept it. This data stays in this browser; it is not an account or a health record. Rejecting optional storage leaves the comparison fully usable. Read the cookie and storage notice or .
Our page code currently loads no advertising pixels, third-party analytics or external fonts. Choosing to remember a shortlist does not authorise analytics or advertising. We would seek a new choice before introducing additional consent-based purposes.
Provider links and referral tags
Links labelled “Provider website” contain UTM referral tags identifying this publication and whether the link was in a listing or profile. The tags contain no visitor ID, search text, treatment filter or calculator input. They are included only in the link you choose to open; this site does not record a click event. The destination provider may record the referral under its own privacy notice. Ordinary source citations are not tagged.
Search engines
We use Google Search Console to submit public pages and view Google’s search-performance reports. No Google Analytics script is installed. Search Console verification is not a cookie-consent choice and does not require a visitor tracking script.
Retention and control
Your cookie-choice record expires after 180 days. Any remembered shortlist has the same expiry and is removed on a subsequent visit after expiry. Rejecting optional storage deletes the stored shortlist immediately. You can also remove these records using your browser’s site-data settings. Page-only selections disappear when you reload or leave the page.
Your rights
Where UK data-protection law applies, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and obtain a portable copy where applicable. You can withdraw optional-storage consent through Cookie settings without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Some rights depend on the legal basis and circumstances. You can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

We update this page when site features or data uses change. The date above records the latest revision. We do not sell visitor profiles or make automated decisions about treatment eligibility.
